Intrauterine System (LNG IUD) consists of a Plastic frame with a reservoir containing drug Levonorgestrel. Levonorgestrel (LNG) hormone is also found in other oral contraceptives. This drug reservoir releases a low daily a microdose of (LNG) into the uterine cavity.
